Ana G. da Costa is a Director with the Real Estate Debt Strategies team and is responsible for new product offerings, tailored client solutions and continued optimization of existing real estate debt investment products.
Prior to this role, da Costa was Head of Business Planning and Oversight for MetLife Investment Management, where she managed strategic, regulatory and business development initiatives for MIM's global investment management platform. Da Costa first joined MetLife as an investments lawyer and was Assistant General Counsel providing legal guidance on a variety of legal issues relating to MIM’s investment vehicles and its investment management services, strategic M&A transactions, as well as numerous securities debt transactions. Before joining MetLife in 2005, da Costa was an associate in the Corporate Law department of the New York City law firm Dewey & LeBeouf LLP.
Da Costa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Rutgers University in 1998, and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New York Law School in 2001. Ana holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses, and is tri-lingual in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
