Chuck Davis is a portfolio manager in MetLife Investment Management’s Real Estate Equity Strategies group.
Davis joined MetLife in 1995 and, during his tenure, has been involved in over $8 billion in mortgage originations and over $4 billion of equity investments including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development. Prior to his current role, he was the regional director for the Southeast region. Davis has more than 30 years of active real estate industry exposure, including previous experience as a vice president with Bank of America in the Real Estate Banking Group focusing on construction lending. Prior to that, he was division manager for AMRESCO, directing an asset management team in property management, leasing and sales functions for South Florida. He began his career in apartment acquisitions with a predecessor company of Trammell Crow Residential.
Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in finance from the University of Florida and an MBA in finance from Georgia State University. He is a member of ULI, NMHC, ICSC, NAIOP, Bergstrom Advisory Board (past chairman), Real Estate Investment Council (past president) and the Tampa Downtown Partnership (past chairman).
