Jennifer Potenta is a Managing Director and Head of MetLife Investment Management’s Corporate Private Placement and Private Structured Credit groups. In this role, Ms. Potenta is responsible for overseeing the management of over $65 billion in private placement assets, as well as corporate and structured private placement origination. Ms. Potenta leads the Private Strategy and Product Development team where she is responsible for creating solutions and products for MIM’s clients. Ms. Potenta also oversees MIM’s Sustainable Investment Strategies team that is responsible for directing ESG integration efforts and managing the Impact Investment portfolio.
Most recently, Ms. Potenta was a Senior Director and Head of International for New York Life’s Private Capital Investors group. Prior to that, Ms. Potenta was a Director in MIM’s Private Placement group responsible for leading various sectors across the consumer and business services space. Ms. Potenta previously held roles as a Portfolio Manager in MetLife’s Global Portfolio Management group, as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and trader with ING Investment Management’s Structured Finance group and started her career as a public accountant.
Ms. Potenta holds a BS/BA degree in Accounting from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. She also holds a CPA designation.
