Kathryn L. Campbell is head of regional operations for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) real estate and agricultural groups. Campbell is responsible for the business operations of the organization, talent management, architectural and engineering services and certain compliance activities. Prior to assuming this position in 2012, she served for six years as head of field operations and managed a staff of 100 real estate professionals in twelve domestic and international offices responsible for mortgage production, loan management, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and joint venture relationships.
Campbell joined MetLife in 1989 and has been responsible for several investment areas, including commercial mortgage-backed securities, northeast equity real estate investments, capital markets group, international real estate, Washington, D.C. region, and office of the CIO where she served as chief of staff for two years.
Prior to joining MetLife, Campbell served as a real estate consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Smith College and a Master of Science in accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Campbell is an active member of Urban Land Institute Council Leadership, WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, The Women’s Bond Club of New York, and served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers.
