Nela D’Agosta is global head of insurance and banking for the institutional client group. In this capacity, she is responsible for the strategy, relationship management and business development of insurance companies and banks globally. D’Agosta joined MetLife in 2013 to help build the investment management business.
Prior to joining MetLife, D’Agosta was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) for over six years. During her tenure at GSAM, she held various positions that were instrumental in helping to grow their insurance asset management business. This included global head of insurance client relationship management, a role in which she built a seasoned relationship team based in New York, London and Hong Kong responsible for overall client management for approximately 60 clients globally and over $75 billion in AUM across asset classes. Prior to that, D’Agosta was at JPMorgan for nine years where she held positions as a global client manager covering large, global investment managers and franchise clients for the bank, and relationship management covering North American financial institutions. D’Agosta started her career at Morgan Stanley where she worked for eight years in various roles, including assignments in Sydney and London.
D’Agosta is a graduate of Villanova University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a finance concentration.
