Head of Central Regional Office - Agricultural Finance
Dan Lane is head of MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) central regional office. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the management team and loan production staff of the central region. The central region includes states in the Intermountain West, Rocky Mountain, Midwest, and the Northeastern regions of the U.S.
Lane joined MetLife in 2010 and has served in a number of roles in MIM’s agricultural and commercial real estate departments. Prior to his current role, Lane was a member of Agricultural Finance’s portfolio management and credit approval committee, where his responsibilities included loan approvals, pricing, underwriting, and strategy. Prior to joining MetLife, Lane spent 11 years as a managing broker and appraiser with a real estate brokerage, appraisal, and investment company.
Lane earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in real estate from Cornell University.
