Frank Monfalcone is a client portfolio manager for MetLife Investment Management (MIM) private placement clients. In this capacity, he acts as the clients’ advocate. 

Prior to his current role, Monfalcone was the head of the distressed investments/workout unit at MIM. Previously, he spent over seven years in private placements where he focused on more highly structured transactions and took responsibility for any troubled investments in the portfolio, specifically during the financial crisis. He was also a credit analyst in the leveraged bank loan unit for four years. 

Monfalcone has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Drexel University and an MBA in finance from NYU.
