Head of Dallas Regional Office - Real Estate
Kurt Day is head of the Dallas regional office. He is responsible for the commercial debt and equity portfolio. He oversees commercial real estate debt and equity activities, including mortgage origination, property acquisitions and dispositions and joint venture investments. Since 2002, Day has overseen mortgage origination volume exceeding $7 billion, over 40 real estate transactions with a total capitalization of more than $1.3 billion, and the disposition of over 30 properties valued at more than $1.4 billion.
Day joined MetLife in 1986 and held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining MetLife, he served in a portfolio management role for a private commercial real estate syndicator based in California.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in real estate from The University of Denver. Day is a member of the Dallas Real Estate Council and a frequent guest speaker at numerous industry related events.
