Institutional Client Group - Insurance & Banking
Michael Mondo is in MetLife Investment Management (MIM)’s institutional client group. Mondo is a senior relationship manager and is responsible for the business development of MIM’s investment strategies including private assets and fixed income. He works primarily with insurance and healthcare companies.
Prior to joining MetLifein March 2016, Mondo was at The Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO) for three years as an institutional client sales and service officer. In this role, he was instrumental in launching the company into the insurance asset management business and was responsible for sales and service for the firm’s most strategic asset management clients. Prior to joining HIMCO, Mondo was with Invesco Advisers for five years specializing in institutional sales and client service for large corporate pension plans, endowments and foundations in the northeast United States. Previously, Mondo held institutional sales roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Evergreen Investment Management and State Street Global Advisors where he began his career.
Mondo holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in marketing from Adelphi University and an MBA in finance from St. John’s University. Mondo is licensed with both FINRA and the NFA.
