Portfolio Manager - Equity Index Strategies

Mirsad Usejnoski is an equity portfolio manager in the Index Strategies group of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Usejnoski is a lead portfolio manager and trader of equity assets and is responsible for all aspects of the portfolio management process. His primary role includes making investment decisions, trading, cash flow monitoring, performance attribution analysis, and daily operations. He also trades equities for MetLife’s general account.

Usejnoski joined MetLife in 2003. He was a financial reporting & analysis manager and the assistant controller of the closed block in MetLife’s individual business group before joining the index strategies group in 2004. Prior to that, Usejnoski was an equity analyst with the Bethlehem Steel Pension Trust. Previously, Usejnoski held finance and accounting roles at Chubb & Son where he began his career. His experience at Chubb included investment accounting, GAAP and statutory reporting, internal audit, and budgeting.

Usejnoski holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Montclair State University and an MBA in finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
