Caleb Ezell

Research Analyst – Equity Management

Caleb Ezell is a research analyst for MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM) small and small-mid cap equities team. He provides coverage for the healthcare sector for the small cap and small-mid cap strategies.

Caleb joined MIM on February 28, 2025 in connection with the acquisition of Mesirow Institutional Investment Management’s equities management team where he served as a research analyst for the small cap and small-mid cap strategies. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2022, Caleb was a specialty pharmaceuticals analyst at Jefferies. Before that, he was at Stephens Inc. where he served as an equity research associate covering healthcare services. Prior to that role he served as director of business development at Claris Healthcare Inc., a digital healthcare startup, based out of Vancouver. He also previously worked at Serco Inc. while on contract with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and was a pre-doctoral fellow at the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Natural Product Neuroscience. Caleb has eight years of industry experience.

Caleb earned a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry and philosophy from the University of Mississippi.
