David Starr is head of Stable Value Investments for MetLife Investment Management (MIM).
Starr joined MIM in 2020. Prior to joining MIM, Starr was a managing director and head of stable value for PFM Asset Management Company and served on the Vermont Pension Investment Committee from 2014-2020. Prior to joining PFM, he was a managing director with Goldman Sachs Asset Management and a predecessor firm, Dwight Asset Management Company, where he was a board member and held several senior client-facing roles over the course of more than 20 years. Starr is a prior board member of the Stable Value Investment Association and has 30 years of investment experience.
Starr received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Duke University. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
