McInerny joined MIM in 2005 and brought with him an in-depth knowledge of the syndicated loan market, trading and portfolio management. Prior to joining MIM, McInerny worked at Travelers Investments (now Citigroup) for 10 years, managing syndicated bank loans, privately placed debt and investment grade corporate portfolios. While at Citigroup, McInerny underwrote new transactions on both a fixed rate and floating rate basis, establishing comparable benchmark credits, structure covenants and rate/spread negotiations.
