Head of Risk, Research and Analytics - Real Estate and Agricultural Finance

Richard McLemore is head of the risk, research & analytics group of MetLife Investment Management. He is responsible for strategic research, portfolio risk analysis, performance measurement/attribution, loan ratings, valuations, insurance/event risk management, portfolio analytics and IT oversight.

McLemore has over 25 years of experience in institutional real estate research, risk management, valuations and related fields. He joined MetLife in 2004. Before joining MetLife, McLemore spent seven years in the investment research department of Prudential Real Estate Investors, where his responsibilities spanned domestic and international markets, and five years at MIG Realty Advisors, a boutique apartment investment advisory firm.

McLemore earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a MS in finance with a concentration in real estate from Louisiana State University. He is a CFA® charterholder and holds Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) professional designations.
